Sharing some Summer Front porch ideas: beautiful potted hydrangeas, outdoor pillows, front door decor and everything you will need to spruce up your front porch this summer!
Woot woot!!! Summer is here! I have been working so hard on our front porch and backyard so I’m excited to share the progress that we have made so far. Even though I still have some landscaping to do, it’s looking so much better than what we started with.
Also, I might not finish these projects anytime soon, so I might as well share the journey with you.
For the entryway, I used two topiaries (I found them at my local Walmart). I love the look of topiaries for the elegance that they bring to any space. They are a classic look for sure.
The front door wreath is a Homegoods find. It’s a gorgeous peony wreath that I use all spring and summer long. Sometimes I move it inside and place it on range hood.
The front door rug is from Frontgate. The monogrammed rug is another classic look that I like. It looks great with the toyaries!
The front door is painted Benjamin Moore “Palladian Blue” .
Summer Front Porch Ideas
This is my first summer front porch! I went with the classic blue and white combo with touches of pink here and there.
I kept the furniture white to brighten up the front porch a little since our house is this weird green/beige color. Blue and white outdoor floral pillows make the front porch look so inviting.
Endless Summer Potted Hydrangeas
My initial plan for the front yard was to have a mix of boxwood and hydrangeas.
After some thought I decided to not use the hydrangeas here because they can get quite large. Instead I’m doing boxwood and white roses bushes which we can keep more under control
I still wanted hydrangeas and when I saw these pink Endless Summer hydrangeas I couldn’t resist! The planters are another Homegoods find, they were only $25 bucks!
Later, we will probably move the hydrangeas to the other side of the house where we have a window and use the planters for seasonal flowers!
Front Porch Seating
Initially I bought this outdoor bench for the front porch. However, we love to hang out here in the afternoons that I quickly realized I needed more seating.
My husband really wanted rocking chairs, so we got two of them. Now is feeling a little crowded.
I moved the bench to the end of the patio (which also keep my girls a little more contained). Eventually I plan to replace this bench with a porch swing?
I think the girls would really enjoy a swing here! We spend a lot of time here on summer. Every night after dinner the girls have desert in the patio while I water the plants. It really is a cozy place we love to hang out at!

Hello , I am almost through with my master bedroom makeup and spent countless hours and money making mistakes . I love pink and saw your sight and thanks to you it finally came all together. The last thing I have to do is put something above my bed . It is not straight across like your , it is a arched top that tapers down on sides . It would be so much easier if it was straight across . Please help . Do you have any makeovers for your bathroom ?
