I’m so excited to share the final touches of our master bedroom décor! This room has come a long way, but it’s finally the cozy and romantic master bedroom I have dreamed of. You can see what I started with here and what it looks like now after a couple of tweaks.
Master Bedroom Lighting
First up, this gorgeous chandelier by Troy lighting!! OMG can I just tell you how excited I’m to finally get rid of the hideous fan and now have this beauty installed?!
I have been researching for months, I looked everywhere for the perfect chandelier for our master bedroom, until I spotted this chandelier on Instagram, it was love at first sight!
And I know what some people are going to say “so you took down the fan??!” yes!! Don’t get me wrong, I liked having a fan and I do miss just a little bit.
However, the bedroom looks soooo much better now that I don’t regret one bit. I had to manually edit the fan from all my photos when I shared here or on Instagram. Lol no more! Now I get to enjoy this view every day and it makes me happy!
The Viola chandelier is gorgeous. It reminds me of a chandelier that you would find in a Parisian apartment. It was definitely the missing piece on this design.
Initially I wanted to go with the medium size chandelier, my master bedroom is quite large with tray ceilings. However, is not as high to accommodate the longer chandelier. I ended up using the small one, I think it looks pretty good. What do you guys think?
Master bedroom color
I get asked a lot what paint color did I use for our master bedroom. The answer is I don’t really know… The house was already painted white when we moved in.
Since the paint was in really good shape it didn’t make sense to just repaint it. I believe is a decorators white? I have painted other rooms in the house “Chantilly lace” from Benjamin Moore and it seems to be pretty close.
Luxury linen bedding
You know I’m a girl on a budget and I save every dime, I’m also very cheap 😬. Lol! But once in a while I like to treat myself. I have had my white bedding for quite some time now, it was time to change things up a little. I had my eye on this linen bedding from Pom Pom at home for some time and finally pulled the trigger.
If you are not familiar with Pom Pom at Home, let me introduce it to you. They make the most gorgeous and luxurious linen bedding. I love linen because is the type of fabric that works for all seasons and washes pretty well. The more you wash the better it gets. I chose to go with a little darker color since is already summer so it can transition seamless into fall.
I chose the Mathilde Duvet Cover in Flax with matching Euro shams, this amazing body pillow and the Trestles throw. Isn’t it so gorgeous?
Bedroom Window treatment
By far the most popular item in my master bedroom decor it’s these velvet blackout curtains. Also, everyone think they are pink or blush. They are not. They are a creamy Ivory color. These curtains are basically the best thing ever. Not only they are really good quality, they are also pretty cheap.
As you know, window treatments can cost an arm & a leg. You can find these for around $60 a panel (sometimes less if they are on sale), which is a pretty good price for curtains. They come in a ton of colors. I chose the ivory because I wanted a little contrast and warmer color. But I did order the white one as well and they look just as good. The curtain rods are another budget find. They are are around 30 bucks!

The linen bedding makes the room looks cozy but still put together. I’m in love y’all! This room is where we dress the girls after bath, where they watch TV and where we cozy up at night. We enjoy every bit of it and it truly is a dream bedroom!

I love them! they are huge and well built. The only think that I have to say is that the handle needs to be tighten and do not put cold glasses on it. Besides that I think is great!
