Happy Holidays friends!! If there is ever a month that goes by super fast is December. Between all the Christmas shopping, Christmas activities and family gatherings, the month just flies by! Today I wanted to share my Christmas front porch with you and some holiday snaps around the house.
Things have been hectic around here, the kids got sick and we are back working from home. Again, I’m super thankful to have my Walmart+ membership. Getting all our groceries and even some last minute wrapping paper has been priceless.
This Post is in partnership with Walmart+, a brand I love. All opinions here are my own.
I’m also super late with my bulb planting. I just ordered all my bulbs from Walmart and got it delivered. So hopefully they will come out next spring. Have you planted your bulbs yet? I have to say that the Walmart+ subscription has been a life saver. From medicine to my spring bulbs I have been able to get everything I needed delivered straight to my door.
The Walmart + subscription cost 12.95 a month (or $98 a year), and you can do a free trial to see how you like it here.
Christmas Front Porch Garland
Last year I created this front porch garland using ornaments from Walmart. I love how inexpensive it was but still came out beautiful! Here is how it looked at night and when we had some snow. I used three inexpensive garlands linked together tow wrap around the door. It’s better to lay the garland on the floor to decorate than to try to add ornaments when is already up (your arms will thank you!).
I used a couple of different sets of ornaments to decorate the garland. Try using different sizes and colors. Walmart had these large sets at the beginning of the Christmas season. I then grouped smaller ornaments in sets of three and attached to the garland. I always try to space the large ornaments evenly on each side.
I then used this Walmart lights to wrap each column connecting to the garlands on the porch. I used four sets of green garlands to go around the porch draping each one to create loops around the porch. I love how festive it looks! Next year when my boxwoods are a little bigger I plan to add lights on them too, the more light the better! On each window I added a wreath with a bow.
For the windows, I use the same lights from Walmart, but on the inside. I always use these light on every single window inside the house. It looks just magical both from the inside and outside.Of course every Christmas porch decor needs a beautiful wreath. This one I have had for a while and it is for sure an investment piece. I hope to save this one for my girls to use in their own homes!
Christmas Lights
Every year I add Christmas lights all over the inside of the windows. I love how this looks from both inside and out. The formal living room looked beautiful this year. I love the all white Christmas tree
White Christmas Tree
This was by far my favorite room in the house this year. The white Christmas tree with pastel ornaments it’s going to be one repeated year after year, I just love it!
I used a white garland over the mantel to make the room flow together. I have to say I realy loved the all white look.
Another special spot was the girl’s playhouse! It also got the all white treatment.
Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of our front porch & home and learning more about Walmart+.
With Love,
Ceres
