Woot woot!!! Our first bathroom renovation is complete!! I’m so excited to show you guys the girls bathroom. It turned out so good & the girls are loving their new space.
But first, let’s take a look at what we started with:
White, boring and basic. It was also falling apart 😂😂. The vanity was in bad shape and the tub was just gross. Everything needed to go!
Bathroom Tile Floor
Oh hello pretty tile!! The first thing I choose for this bathroom was this beautiful tile from MSI Surfaces. I was looking for something feminine, romantic and unique. This La Fleur tile is exactly that! It’s a white and gray marble in the most beautiful flower pattern. Perfect for a little girls bathroom!
I also like that is something unique (I haven’t seen it a thousand times yet on Pinterest), but it’s such a classic shape that it will for sure stand the test of time.
Bathroom Vanity
The search was on to find a gorgeous bathroom vanity that would not be thousands of dollars lol. I finally settled for the Aberdeen Double vanity 60in from HomeDepot. When it went on sale I snagged for around $800 with the marble top!! A great find if you ask me. Classic lines, white and marble was exactly what I was looking for, it also has a lot of storage.
I was a little nervous when I read the reviews, but mine arrived in perfect conditions, I couldn’t be happier with it.
Girls Bathroom Mirrors
Oh Lord the mirror debacle 🤦🏼♀️. If you follow me on Instagram you know I tried 3 sets of mirrors! The first one I loved, but felt it was too small, the second was too large and finally the third one was exactly what I needed. Just for fun and in case you are looking for mirrors here is what the other two looked like:
So which one is your favorite?! 😂 I know a lot people loved the Venetian mirror, and so did I! It was stunning. But it was a couple of inches smaller than the one I chose, in the end I love the one I kept as it fits the bathroom much better.
Shower Tile & Fixtures
For the shower wall I chose this tile from MSI. It’s a classic subway tile with soft veining. I chose the honed finish for easy maintenance, it’s so easy to clean and keep it clean. We went with a light gray grout. It looks so beautiful here now!
The shower fixtures was something that I had no trouble choosing. When I laid my eyes on this Kohler Purist shower I knew I had to have it. What a pretty shower! It’s contemporary but still classic shape, a huge upgrade to the builders grade shower we had it in here.
Can we talk about the shower nook?! One of my must haves was a shower nook. I wanted to eliminate the messy shower rack that I hated. The shower nook was challenging to tile, but it’s so worth it. I actually wished we did it a little bigger. Storage is never enough!
Girls Bathroom Decor
A classic bathroom must have monogrammed towels! I chose this set from Weezie Towels and monogrammed with their initials. These towels are so soft, the pipping adds just the right amount of color to the bathroom.
For the vanity, I use the girls silver tea party set to decorate and store cotton balls, hair clips and Q-tips. You can see from the pictures that I’m still trying to decide on the accessories for the girls bathroom. I don’t know if I should add a towel rack above the potty or on the window side.
I chose the pretties and soft pink for the walls. Is called “Intimate White” by Beth. One day I would love to maybe do some wallpaper in here, but since we are all using this bathroom now, I will wait until the master bathroom is done to add any wallpaper.
So what do you think of the girls bathroom remodel? I hope you loved as much as I did & that it can inspire you to tackle your own bathroom remodel.
With Love,
ceres

So for the floor tile- Home Depot says it’s only for wall tile. Do you think this will be a problem to do for floors?

Mine are perfectly fine! Maybe not a shower floor?
Hi! Stunning! I am obsessed with the floor tile. Can you tell me, is it slippery? Beautiful work. Thanks!!
Author
Not at all! On the contrary, because is small tile it’s not slippery at all!
