Welcome to the first part of my Christmas Decor Home Tour: my pink Christmas tree & family room! I’m so excited to share how I decorate for Christmas for the first time in the new house.
Last year, we moved a couple days before Christmas and I only had time to put my tree together. We had very few furniture and no countertops!! So this year, I went all out, there are Christmas lights from top to bottom, glitter everywhere and a lot of pink (duh!).
I’m also joining some fabulous ladies on a Christmas tour blog hop, so make sure you check them out to see some amazing Christmas decorating ideas!
Pink Christmas Tree
To be honest I even thought of doing a different Christmas tree this year, but when I opened my Christmas decoration storage boxes and I fell in love all over again.
As much as I do want to change things around, I also love what I have collected over the years and all the memories they bring. However, I will be doing a totally different tree in the formal living room! So win-win!
The girls and I had the most fun decorating this year. Sophia is really into it, she loves all the cute Christmas ornaments and we even added a Christmas ornament that belonged to her great grandmother.
I showed her the pink ornaments I bought when she was in my belly and we went shopping for more pink Christmas ornaments! I hope you enjoy the tour and all the five thousand pictures I took.
Pink Christmas Tree Decorations
I have had the same flocked Christmas tree for the past three Years. This tree it’s a super bargain and great quality. I decorated with a mix of pastel Christmas ornaments, all kinds of candy ornaments, feathers and glittery ornaments. I have been collecting these unique Christmas ornaments for years. Every year I add more to my collection!
We were so lucky that this house has the most beautiful fireplace in the family room. It’s beautiful all year around, but during the holidays, I love it even more.
This year I used two faux Cedar garlands and a couple of silver dollar eucalyptus to decorate our mantel. I added a couple of faux peonies to tie with the Christmas tree. To completed the look, I used a pink ribbon to do a cute bow, finishing it off with our stockings.
