Is Christmas kitchen decor a thing?! Well now it is! Welcome to the third part of my Christmas Home Tour: my kitchen. I was super excited to decorate my kitchen for the first time for Christmas. In my old apartment, the kitchen was so small that I never decorated for Christmas. Safe to say I went a little crazy this time around😜. But Christmas it’s the time where we can go over the top and no one will judge! Right?! I’m also joining some very talented ladies on a blog hop, so make sure to check them out for more inspiration! Don’t forget to check out my Family Room Christmas Home Tour and the Formal Living Room Home Tour.
Christmas Kitchen Decor
In one of my latest Target runs I saw this beautiful garland from Magnolia Home on sale for 20 bucks!! I took all of them and the wreath as well. In total I used six garlands, three in the kitchen window and three over the door. I had this plan to add Christmas lights to this window but since I used a 300 light string, I had a lot of left over. To be honest I was way to lazy to exchange the lights for the smaller ones, lol. So I ended up laying the Christmas lights from one side to the other on my counters. I actually liked all the light they provide since we still don’t have under cabinet lighting. The garland above the door will be used to display our Christmas cards. I’m still contemplating if I want to add Christmas lights to this garland as well or keep it just the greens.
Mini Boxwood Wreath
For my glass cabinets, I used a ribbon and a mini boxwood wreath. I hang the ribbon to the back of cabinet with a command strip. I also used command strips to secure the garlands and the Christmas lights. The range hood cover got a wreath from Target as well. I added the same ribbon I used in the glass cabinets to the wreath.
Instead of flowers next to the window, I added a mini Christmas tree to my vintage ice bucket and planted some white papers in a mercury glass bowl. Lastly, I sprinkled a couple of bottled brushed trees and a glitter house to complete my Christmas kitchen decor.Christmas Candy Jars
I have had these candy jars for a while now, I love having them in the kitchen and I’m always switching things up. For Christmas I used candy cane, marshmallows, and ginger bread cookies. You can add whatever candies you like. These candy jars are a cheap and cute way to add to your Christmas decor. I found mine at Homegoods but these ones from Pottery Barn are very similar.
So what do you guys think?! I loved how it turned out, it looks so festive and sparkly just like I like it! For all the kitchen sources please visit this Classic White Kitchen Remodel .
