Sophia’s toddler bedroom got a mini makeover thanks to my friends at Wayfair!

I’m excited to share with you guys the simple updates we did to her room to create a cozy & cute bedroom that will grow with her for many years to come.
Cozy Bedroom Rug
The first thing I wanted to replace was the rug. The old rug wasn’t aging well and it was not that soft. The girls play a lot in here so I wanted a rug that was a little more easier on tinny knees. I chose this gorgeous fluffy rug form Wayfair. This huge 8×10 rug was just $159, the quality is great, its so soft and easy to clean. The room just looks so much more grounded with the new rug.
A lot of people ask me how I keep white rugs in the house with toddlers. It’s simple, no food in the bedrooms, no shoes and I keep some activities in the downstairs kitchen only (like play dough!). I haven’t had any problems with our rugs so far.
White Nailhead Headboard
Next was the headboard, Wayfair has such a great selection to pick from with Home updates from $39 plus fast free shipping over $35. You can’t beat free shipping on furniture my friends, it’s essential!
I chose the Christophe Upholstered Panel Headboard, The headboard is stunning and very affordable too. It also comes in pink, the pink one almost made its way to my cart 😂. But as always, I prefer to keep the furniture in neutral colors. It’s a lot easier to change pillows around than a headboard, am I right?
Cute Bedroom Decor
The next item on my list were the nightstands. She only had one in here before. Getting matching nightstands and lamps really brought this room together. I got the Lyla 2 Drawer Nightstand. Super cute design and perfect size for a toddlers bedroom.
The lamps are the Damis 30.5 Table Lamp Set. I love the white and gold combo for lamps, I have similar set in my bedroom, the gold just adds that extra touch of sparkle to the room. I added some cute bedroom decor like the flowers, the swan and toys baskets. These can easily be switched up for more grown up items when she grows a little.
I love how this room turned out! The new rug and accent furniture from Wayfair was just what I needed to finish this room, they make it simple to create a home you love! A cute bedroom for my little princess to enjoy for years to come.

Does the bedding have a ruffle across the middle/ top (where the swan is sitting) or is it flipped over with a white fitted sheet under it? Its sold out, trying to find something similar for Canada.
