Welcome to the second part of my Christmas Home Tour: the formal living room with my blue and white Balsam Hill Christmas tree!
While in the Family Room I went with a more playful look and went all out with my Pink Christmas Decor, in our formal, I wanted a more glam look.
Make sure to stop by and check out my Christmas Kitchen Decor! I’m sure you will love it!
I also wanted to try a different look for my second Christmas tree, and by that I mean not pink. I might be just a little obsessed with how it turned out. Which explains the 500 pictures!
Balsam Hill Christmas Tree
I chose this beautiful pre-lit frosted fraser fir Christmas tree from Balsam Hill, it’s a gorgeous 7.5 flocked Christmas tree. Let me tell you, this tree it’s amazing; even my husband was impressed with it.
The Christmas tree comes so well packed and is super easy to put it together. You don’t even have to connect wires. It’s already wired so all you need to do is put the three parts together.
The quality is fantastic. Balsam Hill even provides gloves so you can spruce the tree up. This is the most realistic Christmas tree I have ever seen!
We couldn’t be happier with out Balsam Hill tree, the quality and the beauty of this tree is worth every penny. Balsam Hill always have coupon on their website so make sure to check it out before you buy your Balsam Hill tree!
Blue & White Balsam Hill Ornaments
The Christmas tree decorations that I chose from Balsam Hill are show stoppers! I chose all kinds of gorgeous vintage ornaments in all shades of blue and silver.
I also picked these mercury ornaments and a Cristal and Pearls beaded garland. I mean, is there anything more glam then this garland? To complete my tree I added the ice tea drop ornaments.
For the topper I chose this beautiful star, it’s pre-lit, with a beautiful glow. For the skirt, I went with the Juliette fringed skirt. It has gorgeous sequins on it, I can’t wait to have all the gifts around this tree.
Blue Christmas Decorations Ideas
Now, to glam it up the rest of the room to go with my beautiful blue Christmas tree, I added a couple of mini mercury Christmas trees to my shelf. I also sprinkled mercury vases (my latest obsession) everywhere.
These vases add a touch of glam and sparkle to my coffee table. Am I right? I arranged some left overs ornaments in a cute pedestal bowl.
Balsam Hill Christmas Decorations
For the fireplace mantel (by the way, this fireplace is a stand alone fire place that I added here), I used the same Cedar garland that I used in the family room.
I love this garland because it’s very realist and the color is beautiful. I added the Midnight Frost picks from Balsam Hill to the garland to add a little blue here too.
I have been collecting vintage brass candle holders since my wedding and this was the perfect place to display them.
So what do you guys think of my blue and white Christmas tree?
Decorating for Christmas is by far the most fun, you can go over the top or keep it simple, do what ever your heart desires! Happy Decorating!
